ACCOUNTANCY

Provided by our partner, GD Matthews Chartered Certified Accountants.

GD Matthews was established in 2014 by Matt Garland with the aim of creating a modern approach to accounting. Matt set out to provide an informal and approachable service with all the professionalism you would expect from your accountant.

We understand software is key to minimising the burden of modern-day bookkeeping and compliance. We invest heavily in the most up to date software which enables us to streamline your accounting processes as much as possible and keep costs to a minimum.

If your company runs a PAYE scheme, you must abide by the Auto Enrollment obligations.

Acting and planning ahead in this area is crucial to ensure you are ready before your Staging Date which will be provided to you by The Pensions Regulator. Pensions Regulators are looking to recover all penalties issued so you must be ready for your staging date

Here at DS Business Support, our pensions services run along side or payroll services.

There are many rules regarding auto enrollment:

- You must enroll certain staff into a pension scheme, even if you only have one employee

- All staff must be notified in writing

- It affects all employers with staff in the UK

All pension contributions are are paid for by the employer via direct debit. This figure is calculated and uploaded to the pensions database at the same time that we run your payroll, whether that be weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly or annually.
